FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
all you need is a discord and an email - accepted applicants will be sent a link to a discord server where all correspondence will be held. an email is needed to receive application results.
prompts are a part of our application forms, but they can be changed at any time if accepted. a form for prompts will be issued to all accepted applicants, where a "final" prompt will be submitted. this doesn't mean a prompt is set in stone - you're more than welcome to change it whenever!
we're shooting for 25 total contributors - 20 artists & 5 writers. other specs for the zine will be provided to all accepted applicants in our server.
have a question that wasn't answered here? shoot us an ask through our retrospring!
SCHEDULE
eagle-eyed zinesters may notice that this project only takes place over the course of a couple months (as opposed to the typical 6-12+ month timespan of other fanzines). this is to ensure that all proceeds get to our selected charity as soon as possible.
it is heavily encouraged to take the schedule into account when applying.
CONTRIBUTOR APP GUIDELINES
your application should consist of 3 pieces displaying your best work!
please select artworks with your current style on display!
traditional artists are more than welcome to participate, as long as pieces can be scanned and uploaded at 300dpi.
your application should consist of 3 works that you feel best display your writing style!
works submitted should be between 1.5 to 3k words (encouraged but not required - anything a bit longer or shorter is totally fine), unless you are submitting poetry.
some things to note: all applicants must be 16+ to apply, and works related to dungeon meshi are not required but heavily encouraged!
